Our motto is known as ‘siga damu a vanua’ which means ‘it’s never too late’. The term siga damu a vanua goes back to our forefathers during their time in implementing their plans between sun rises and sun sets - they could still execute it even at the last light of a day and that is who we are; for “it’s never too late”.
We humble ourselves when we take slow paces in order to achieve our set goals for the reward is great and satisfying.
Macuata prides itself as the centre of the friendly north where we are quite well known for our friendly gestures and true hospitality.
