The soqosoqo vakamarama Macuata comprises of mostly itaukei women in the province. This group is one of the backbones of the Provincial Council in terms of strategizing soli ni vanua (provincial rates) and setting up projects within the community they live in. For the past few years the soqosoqo vakamarama had showcase its talents and market their handicrafts at the Womens Showcase which normally held in Suva.
